Wedding Shower Big Cookie

Mrs. Patsy Winklepleck is helping give a wedding shower this weekend for Linda and Cody Robertson. Linda is using deep purple in their wedding, so we decided to do some spring colors with deep purple accents and use the couple's initials. Thank you so much, Mrs. Patsy. I enjoyed talking with you!

Clonetrooper Cookies

Through making cookies, I am learning names like clonetrooper and boba fetta. Clonetrooper must be a mighty popular fellow on Star Wars, as I have another order for some of his cookies next week. These are for Melody Chamberlin. Her little boy is turning 5 and loves Star Wars. Thank you so much, Melody...I hope your little boy's birthday party is a blast!! Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!

21st Birthday

This is a big 21 for Melody Chamberlin. She is throwing a party for her boyfriend who loves red, white, and black. There will also be a few circle cookies to match. Thank you so much, Melody!

Logo Cookies for Dr. Starr

Cindy from Dr. Starr's office needed some logo cookies. I always enjoy working with Cindy...she is so sweet! Thank you so much, Cindy!

Cookies for Lily

Miss Carol called me and wanted some pink and blue cookies for Mr. Mike's granddaughter, Lily, who was turning 6 last weekend. How I do love some pink and turquoise!! This design is very popular for birthdays, showers, weddings, etc...ANY color combo looks great. Thank you so much, Miss Carol!!

While You Were Commenting...

...I've been baking! I saved the pictures to post after the giveaway was over. If I don't get these posted, I will get way behind. Thank you all again for participating in my giveaway. I must say that the comment that had me laughing was Darrie's comment..."Can you lick the spoon on Weight Watchers?" If you read my personal blog (see family blog over on the sidebar), you know I am a little obsessed with Weight Watchers for the time being. Cookie dough and icing are my weakness, but my willpower has shown through (thank goodness). And I don't think ya'll would appreciate me licking the spoon anyway...although tempting at times...I do not lick the spoon, I promise!!

A GIVEAWAY FROM THE COOKIE MAMA!

***UPDATE*** Several of you have asked where on etsy I purchased my stickers. I got them at http://www.autumnleah.etsy.com/ Her stuff is precious...I just ordered a few more! She is fabulous to work with, and I always love supporting a mommy business!

I have been so giddy about the "Cookie Mama" stickers that I ordered off of etsy. Like so giddy that I have RUN to my mailbox every day since I ordered them. So today, when I did my normal mailbox run...they were here! I did a little happy dance, almost got run over by a cute little lime green beetle, and squealed sort of loudly. I love the mail :)

O.k., so I am up for a little giveaway, complete with a "Cookie Mama" sticker on the box :) I also realized that this was my 140th post (yes, it is sort of a random number, but an even number at least...would you guess that I suffer terribly from OCD?) Ya'll have been so good to me! I have truly been blessed with my little cookie business...I have met some wonderful new people and grown closer to some whom I have known for a long time (not to mention having a little of my own spending money...always a good thing for a Mommy to have).

So I am giving away a free dozen cookies (boxed). You can get your free dozen whenever you want them...the next day if you wish...or if you need cookies for an occasion down the road, you can save your free dozen for then (like if you need 3 dozen, you will only pay for 2). This does apply to cookie orders that I already have taken. You pick what you want them to look like (only a few limitations apply...and yes, I have been asked to do some of THOSE cookies before...use your imagination...and I have to say NO...I have kids, and they see my cookies).

I get e-mails all of the time about shipping...I do not like to say "no", but at this time I am not shipping cookies. I am sorry to you out-of-towners to limit this to local yocals (I am in Columbus, MS), but I sort of have to. I would be willing to deliver them as far as 60 miles (like Tuscaloosa or Tupelo...I can always use a Target or Hobby Lobby run). If you have family who lives nearby and you want to treat them to some cookies, please enter. We'll work out all of the details after the drawing.

All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post (this post only, please). If you post about this giveaway on your own blog (and please feel free to!), leave me a second post telling me, and I will enter you twice. If you are entering as "Anonymous" be sure to leave me your name and e-mail address. Now I don't know about that "random generator" stuff (sorry!), so I will be putting you all in a hat and letting Macy draw. I teach honesty big-time, so I can assure you it will be done right! I will draw next Thursday afternoon at 3:30, in case you want your cookies for the weekend or if one of my customers for next weekend wins. Hope I didn't forget anything..let me know if I did. Good luck, and thank you for your support of the Cookie Mama!

Happy Birthday, Ellie Dawson!

So I love meeting new people through my little cookie business! I have actually made several new friends this way. But I also love making cookies for people that I have always known...these princess cookies were for one of those kind...Evans (Whitaker) Dawson :) Evans was a year behind me in school, and I have known her family for most of my life. Her precious little girl, Ellie, is having her birthday party tomorrow...she loves pink and is most into a crown...so here you go little Ellie...lots of pink, a princess with your color hair, and a BIG crown! Thanks so much, Evans! I hope Ellie's party is so much fun, and I will be thinking of you especially next Wednesday as you will be giving Ellie a little brother :)

Baby Shower for Eva

These are for a baby girl on the way...her nursery colors are light pink, light green, and brown...cute, cute! Liza Holland (sorry again...I know that is your maiden name) ordered these. I took them to her at Monograms Plus...oh my...have you been in there lately? The new Vera Bradley pattens are so cute they make me want to scream...seriously! Sorry...I digress...back to the cookies...thank you so much, Liza...you are so much fun to work with!

Happy Birthday, Cole Littlejohn!

Cole Littlejohn is turning 2! He is having a "Lucy" the puppy dog birthday party. Look at this precious invitation made by Jenny Holloway. Cole is a little sweetheart. Lucy (not the dog, the girl) had fun playing with you, Cole! We need to get together more!! Thank you Jennifer and Mrs. Carol! I hope Cole's birthday party is lots of fun!

Fun and Funky Hearts

These were some more hearts for Summer Walker...she requested bright, fun, funky, and a little bit of purple! I came up with whimsical animal printed hearts. They were fun to do...thanks so much Summer!
