Cookies for Bridal Fair...Valentine's Day Ideas Too!

My friend and photographer, Addie Talley, asked me if I would me interested in having some cookies at her display at the bridal fair this past weekend. I was really excited about this...as the bridal fair holds a special place in my heart! I went to it right after Jason and I got engaged (they hold it in downtown Columbus once a year in January). They have lots of door prizes...I ended up winning the grand prize...a VERY nice gift certificate to Goose Hollow furniture. It was awesome!! We were able to get an entire bedroom suite (sleigh bed, dresser with mirror, a chest of drawers, and 2 bedside tables)...AND our living room furniture...our couch and the leopard chair with ottoman that I am sitting on right now =) Anyways...I jumped at the chance to have some cookies at the bridal fair...and I did them in colors that coordinated with Addie's awesome display...pink, orange, and yellow...so fun! Thank you so much, Addie! You are always so much fun!!
**Keep in mind that any cookie you see may be done in any colors...some of these cookies would be great for Valentine's!!**

Darth Vader Cookies

For some reason, making Star Wars character cookies always make me a little nervous...but these are some of my new favorites. Wish I had thought of this before...I used a bell cookie cutter and just cut the little dinger off the bottom. I have had "Luke...I am your father" in my head ever since I made them! Happy birthday, Todd Sharp! Thank you so much, Misty!

Polka Dot and Thank You Cookies

We took these to our sweet doctor...Lucy wanted to tell her "thank you" for taking care of her =) They match the decor of her office...it is so beautiful!

Trucks and Tractors

These cookies are for big brother, Waylon, who has a new baby sister. Thank you so much, Debbie Gore!
(Rarely do I forget to take pictures of cookies, but I also did some baby carriages and angels with baby sister's name, Lexie, on them...I will have to recreate them...they were pink and green and so cute!)

House Cookies

Sweet litte houses for a realtor and a lawyer's office. Thank you so much, April Barlow! Congratulations to Jason, April, Lily, and Meg on their new house =)

Toy Story...Jesse's Hat

Happy birthday to a sweet little girl (who reminds me SO much of my Lucy), Ayden Forrester! Thank you so much, April!
**I saw this idea on a Family Fun website, only they used some type of candy for the top rather than a cookie**
